Volunteer Form
First Impressions – We care about how a person feels when they walk through the doors of Northampton Christian Church. Our First Impressions Team exists so that visitors’ questions are answered clearly, they feel cared for, and they make a connection while they are with us.
Coffee Ministry – Every Sunday, a team sets up our coffee bar, complete with assorted snacks and delicious coffee. We encourage people to come to church a little early to visit with each other while enjoying a good cup of joe!
Children’s Ministry – Our NCC Kids Ministry is staffed by vetted volunteers who love children and enjoy teaching them about how to love Jesus and love others. We have fun learning!
Youth Ministry – our NCC Youth are led by adults who have a heart for teens. They provide an atmosphere where students can learn about God and themselves in a safe and fun space that encourages spiritual growth.
Women’s Ministry – The Women of Northampton enjoy some kind of gathering most months. A favorite every year is the Christmas Tea. There is also BIble studies happening most of the time throughout the year.
Worship Ministry – Northampton loves to sing! Our worship team leads the church in a blended service. We sing the beloved hymns and also enjoy contemporary songs. We have a lot of fun, but also take seriously the holy moments of worship that we experience together.
Tech and Sound Ministry – In today’s church world, technology plays a big part, from running the sound during a Sunday service, to making sure the livestream happens, to ensuring the church can see the lyrics on the screen. There are many “moving parts” that make a church service happen, and the Tech Team is a vital part of that.
Food Pantry Ministry – We love our community at Northampton! For years, the church has provided food to many families in our area through our food pantry. Currently, the food pantry opens every third Saturday morning.
Care Ministry – Our Care Ministry takes care of the hurting, the lonely, and the sick. We provide both meals and encouragement through visits, cards and encouragement. When there is a death in the family of one of our members, the Care Ministry also oversees funeral dinners if it is requested.
Prayer Ministry – We pray a lot at NCC; we believe in the power of our God who hears and answers prayer! We have a team that organizes a time of prayer for anyone who comes to pray or be prayer for. This special time of prayer happens every Wednesday evening.
Missions – At Northampton, we love helping other churches, organizations and missionaries, both in the States and abroad, carry out their mission for the Kingdom. We serve many different missions with financial support and prayer.
