Why Northampton Family?
We call ourselves NorthamptonFamily simply because the church is a family. We are a family that has ups and downs, good times and bad times but through it all we are a family. This means that we stick together through all of the pitfalls and roadblocks that come as a result of being human. At NorthamptonFamily you will be welcomed and loved just as you are. Our desire is to love everyone the way that Jesus loved them and work to pursue Jesus together.
What is this church all about?
We take the words of Jesus seriously and He told us to “Love God and Love People.” He added that everything “hangs on these two commands” which means that these two things are the most important words in the Bible. They are the foundation for our family, and for everything we do. We want to be a church that is known for how well we Love God and Love People

What is Love?
We define love as “thinking the best and doing the best to the point of self-sacrifice.” We want to think the best and do the best for God, for each other, and for you which means that we are prepared to make sacrifices of “self” in order to show you His love. Jesus showed us that He loved when He went to the cross. He thought and did the best which is why He sacrificed Himself so that we could have our sins forgiven and spend eternity with Him.
What is baptism?
BAPTISM isn’t about a spiritual or religious experience. It’s a decision made by you to say YES to Jesus and give your whole life to Him. It’s a part of the salvation process where we metaphorically come into contact with the blood of Jesus that washes away our sin. It’s a picture of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus because in baptism we die to our old selves, we are buried in the water and we are raised out of the water to live a NEW LIFE.
